Our Zing Team - vital to reaching our Everest!

As we approach the new year, we are looking to build our arsenal of London Zing Team members! This team are the face of our brand and play a vital role in growing TENZING. 

We spoke to some of our team members to find out why they applied for the role and what their day-to-day TENZING activities entail!

My sister worked for TENZING as she heard through a friend that it was a great way to start earning money when she first moved to London. I was studying at the time and needed a job that was flexible but allowed me to earn some money. Being a student Zing Team member for TENZING was great, as I could work as and when I had time around my studies. It was flexible hours and days and meant I earned enough money to support myself.

Above all, being a Zing Team member has definitely built my confidence and taught me to be more organised and learn to prioritise. I would also say it's made me more patient - I’ve persevered at things that beforehand I wouldn’t have done and this has given me the determination to re-build and try a new strategy.

I worked for 2 years as a Zing Team member and after graduating this summer, I worked almost everyday and was then offered a full-time internship. That's the great thing about the role, there’s always opportunities to grow with the brand!

Working for TENZING is a great job choice if you’re a student. Not only do you get to choose your hours so that they fit around your studies, but you also get to enjoy a competitive salary. You have a part-time job that sees you travelling around London, whilst teaching you valuable skills in the world of sales and marketing. It has opened my eyes to the world of start-ups and sharpened my interest in small business.

Telling the story behind our brand and getting people to try TENZING for the first time is a vital part of our activity as a small, close-knit team. Joining the Zing team means linking up with everyone behind the brand, and hard work is rewarded and recognised.

It takes a lot to challenge the big dogs in the industry, so we’re looking for those who can bring energy and entrepreneurship into environments that often require spontaneity, assertiveness and positive energy.

The team at TENZING are some of the best in the business - this is a part-time role that will give you real responsibility and valuable experience for the future.
